Subject: CA problem - unable to update ICL databases and modify certifier
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Domino Server
Technical Area: Administration
Platform: Windows 2003 server
Release: 8.0.2
Reproducible: Always

Hi
After creating 25 certifiers and migrating them all to CA process some months ago we now have problems. We have been creating and updating users since - all was working fine. But now an administrator tells me she cannot log new users on from a new server in UK. Users were created 24 hours ago, but get the "Your certificate has not been signed by the Certificate Authority". Doing Tell ca refresh, and pushing the administration request gave nothing.
I now looked at the certifier she was using. The administrator who created the users was together with most of the administrators moved to another certifier, but they are all still listed in the ICL database with the old name (old certifier). This is not good! Does this mean I have to removed ALL renamed administrators from ALL CA certificates, and them add them again? I thought Adminp would do this as part of a rename / move to new certifier process.
I tried to add the administrator with the new username to the certifier in CA. When saving the information to the ICL database I then get the error :"Cannot locate user certificate. Make sure server contains your certificate for encryption."
OK.
I try adding another user. Same error. I then try another Certifier. Same problem!
I cannot modify any certifiers in the CA process.
I found a support note stating my location document and administration settings should be correct. They are.

I also tried creating a new Personal Address book with 1 correct location. No difference.

We are currently rolling out 70 users in UK and installing their PC's, so this is a major problem. Please help anyone...
